I’m the face behind The Cookie Effect, formerly known as Mary Lou’s Custom Cookies!

Our story began with Mary Lou’s Donuts, a local West Lafayette bakery that’s been part of the community since 1961. Waldon, the owner and a longtime family friend, gave me the opportunity to turn their freshly baked cookies into something completely customizable. Combining my love for creativity, events, and connecting with people, Mary Lou’s Custom Cookies was born!

As the business grew, so did my vision, and that’s how The Cookie Effect came to life!

While our name and look have changed, the heart of our business remains the same. Our cookies are still freshly baked at Mary Lou’s Donuts and personalized with your logos, photos, designs, and anything else you can dream up.

My favorite part is working directly with each customer, from the first idea to the final cookie. Whether it’s for a business, wedding, birthday, or just because, my goal is to create something that looks amazing, tastes even better, and feels completely yours.
